1. Scope of this notice
This Privacy Notice explains how Careerly handles information provided through its remote-work application service.
It applies to information collected directly from applicants and to limited technical information needed to operate and protect the service.
2. Information we may collect
Careerly may collect your current situation, occupation, skills, availability, name, email address, telephone number, locale, source URL, submission time, consent version, and limited security or request information where necessary.
Required fields and the effect of not providing them are identified when you submit an application.
3. How we use information
Careerly handles information to receive applications, manually review profiles for potentially suitable opportunities, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, contact applicants, and meet legal or security obligations.
Marketing communications are separate from the application process and require a separate choice where applicable.
4. Storage, access, and international transfers
Application records may be stored through approved Google Sheets or Google Workspace services and accessed only by authorised operational staff.
Submitted profiles are an internal matching reference. Careerly does not automatically disclose a stored profile to prospective employers or recruiters.
5. WhatsApp and other third parties
After a successful submission, you may choose to open a predefined WhatsApp message. WhatsApp is a separate Meta service governed by its own terms and privacy information. Only you can send the message in WhatsApp.
6. Retention, rights, and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this notice, unless a longer period is required by applicable law.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, objection, or withdrawal of consent. The availability of those rights can vary under applicable law.
Careerly uses reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.
7. Minimum age and changes
The service is for people aged 18 or older. Careerly may update this notice from time to time and will post the updated version on this page.
